Talked to Carla this morning. The fracture is at L1 and not C1 -- so lower back, not neck. Jeremy's pain is a little better controlled with the back brace on but he is still in pain when he moves around. Pain medication he was given in the ER kept him (them) up last night with nausea and vomitting, so let's pray that passes quickly and his pain can be controlled without the side-effects. Also pray for their rest!
Keep your eyes and ears open -- we may be able to help them out by providing some meals, but they are covered tonight.
Pray for Carla who is pregnant -- this is all a lot for her to deal with. Praises though -- Jeremy is doing alright, he will be alright and no one else was hurt!

The outpouring of blessings has been tremendous as the body has responded to our situation in the most loving and helpful ways. The power of prayer cannot be measured as it has been an amazing day. I especially want to thank Howard Tipton to visiting us in the emergency room while offering his love, prayer and support as we went through the ER process. We are not accustomed to asking for help. Oh, how the devil will lie to us and tell us we can do it all on our own. I cannot encourage you enough who are troubled in your marriage, in your family, in your roommate relationships to seek help from the body. My problems are merely physical and will heal. May God heal and speak to our hearts as we surrender ourselves to Him in these relationships.
As for us, God spoke to Carla & I this Sunday telling us that Love is patient. We have been needing to learn that one for a long time and now we are. Praise God!
I have had a relaxing day thanks to my dear boss, Jim Askew. He and Matt Bevers have been taking care of the office in my abscience(sp) and have been taking care my family-Thank you. The Weavers are doing the same today-Thank you.
I have not needed any pain medicine since I left the hospital yesterday evening. Praise God! There is much soreness, stiffnes, pulled muscles, but am able to sit up, lay down and walk around briefly.
There is truly POWER in prayer-Thank you.
