New Hope Group Blog! Wow! Duly Impressed?

Here's to moving into the "information era"! Since we're doing things a little different this summer, thought it would be important to stay in touch and provide a place where we can all check-in to see what's going on as well as reply to things... let me know if this works for you! I won't promise to get fancy with pictures and things like that, but who knows?

Looks like we have some pretty significant things going on among us (if you don't know what I'm talking about, then you'd better come on Wed.)! We're planning on meeting this Wednesday, the 30th. Still trying to come up with a good plan... I'm planning on calling Bryan Parks & Rec. tomorrow to see if there's a pavillion (with restrooms) open Wed. night. If the weather is alright, we can let the kids play on the playground and have time to talk and meet together. We'll bring an ice-chest with juice boxes. Who'll bring an ice-chest with bottled water?

If the weather is still rainy, it still may work -- we could set the kids up at a picnic table with some board games, art projects, etc. (and lots of mosquito spray)!

Get back to me with any fabulous ideas and we'll figure it out. Check back before Wed. and I'll post the final plans and times here.

More summer fun to come!

Sorry we couldn't make it; Julie and Daniel came back from Washington DC around 6:00 pm yesterday, having spent 2 weeks there, and we just wanted to hang around the house and hear stories. And there were some good ones...

See you next time!

Brian,

Missed you guys! We'd love to hear the stories. So what group did they go with?

I'm so excited to have someone check out the blog! Thanks!
